The Sunday Post #7
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba from The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Hi all! After tons of changes, strange posts, frustration, and just a few pulled hairs, Nyx Book Reviews is back in order. If you’d like to know more about what happened, you can check out this post.
But I’m back on track again now, woop! I’ve been such a scatterbrain this week. I completely forgot to hand in an assignment for school, which is something that has never happened to me in the last three years at uni. Apparently my mind is completely elsewhere. I hope that I can get a bit more on top of things soon, I can’t really afford to mess up in my final year! On the bright side, I came up with a good idea for my thesis. It’s about Edgar Allen Poe – but that’s all I’m going to say about it for now (:
This week on Nyx Book Reviews
- Graphic Novel Review: Locke and Key Volume 1. – Welcome to Lovecraft by Joe Hill
- Review: The Mysteries by Lisa Tuttle
- Vlog: The Night of Elisa Book Spotlight
- Review: We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
For the first time in a month or two, I made a new vlog! It’s for The Night of Elisa, a book I proofread. I’d love for you to watch it! (:
This week on Irresponsible Cactus
- nothing!
I decided to concentrate on Nyx Book Reviews for now, but I’m sure I’ll return to my other baby soon enough.
Read this week
- A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking – 5☆
- The Duchess War by Courtney Milan – 3☆
- Plus One by Elizabeth Fama – 2☆
- Moriarty by Anthony Horowitz – 3☆
- Wolf Island by Darren Shan – 4☆
I can hardly think of a more diverse week! I finally managed to finish a few books I’d been dreading a bit (Plus One and Moriarty). I LOVED A Brief History of Time. I wonder why I never thought of reading non-fiction before. I should do it more often!
How was your week?
