The Fantasy Project – My 101 TBR Fantasy Books

Hosted by Michelle of The True Book Addict, The Fantasy Project is a 10-year long challenge reminiscent of the Classics Club challenge, only longer and with fantasy books. A few years ago the members of the 101 Fantasy Reading Challenge voted on their favourite fantasy books to create a list of the 101 best fantasy books. For this challenge you can either read those 101 – or create your own list out of the 813 total nominated books. For my challenge, I decided to get more well-read all round. The list contains (from top to bottom) high fantasy, urban fantasy/paranormal romance, and young-adult books. As you might notice, they’re all series. I’m going to use The Fantasy Project to finally dig into all these amazing series, and have a drive to actually finish the series instead of just reading the first book (which I’m very prone to). Books with an * after the author’s name are books I added myself, and that aren’t mentioned in the list.

My goal will be to read these 101 books by August 2023. However, I don’t think they will take me nearly that long, making my unofficial goal to finish them by August 2018.
