Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon & Wonderfully Wicked Readathon
The goal is to read for 24 hours – or at least for as long as you can. Since I already invited some friends over tonight to play Magic The Gathering I won’t be reading nearly that long, but I’m going to try for 4-6 hours. The readathon runs from the 12th 14:00 till 13th 14:00 for me, but you can check the site to see in which time zone you’re reading.
My goals will be:
- Read for at least 4 hours
- Finish at least one book
- Occasionally check in with people on Twitter
Progress:
- Hours read: 3.5
- Pages read: 260
- Books read: 1 (Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë)
- Currently reading: Until I Die by Amy Plum
Goal of the Wonderfully Wicked Read-a-Thon is to read as much as you can. I didn’t sign up until today, but I’ll also be counting what I read yesterday since that’s when the readathon began. It’s okay to participate only one day if you’re busy, the WWreadathon is a relaxed one.
My goals will be:
- To check out at least daily how another participant is doing
- Finish at least three books
- Try to make it to one Twitter chat
Progress:
- Hours read: 10.5
- Pages read: 600
- Books read: 2 (Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë [70 pages], Until I Die by Amy Plum [350 pages], Lancelot by Chrétien le Troyes [130 pages])
- Currently reading: Waking the Witch by Kelley Armstrong
