The Sunday Post #16
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba from The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Hi guys! Only one more day and then I’ll be off for a very quick two-day trip to Bruges (Brugge) in Belgium. 2015 has already been a great year for travel with London two weeks ago, and it’ll only get better!
My reading has been incredibly slooooow this week. It’s like I’m struggling to finish anything, and I have no idea where that’s coming from! Maybe I’m just reading too many different books, and I’ll be able to go on a finishing spree soon. I do hope so.
In other news, I signed up for Scribd! This is a subscription service for ebooks. It basically works like the ebook services of most libraries, and it costs $8,99 for a month. So far I’ve been really enjoying it – buying ebooks costs a lot, so I’m hoping to save some money by reading them like this. So far I’m very content with their collection and services.
This week on Nyx Book Reviews
- Review: Of Things Gone Astray by Janina Matthewson
- Reader Problems (Tag Post)
- Review: Glass Houses by Rachel Caine
If you haven’t read my review of Of Things Gone Astray yet, go do it! That book absolutely blew me away. I also got tagged to answer some reader questions, and I’m discussing the first book of the Morganville Vampires series, Glass Houses.
This week on Irresponsible Cactus
Inspired by two other bloggers who shared their daily routine, I’m also sharing mine. Spoiler alert: I don’t get up early. Ever.
Read this week
- The Prince by Kiera Cass – 3☆
- Another Little Piece by Kate Karyus Quinn – 4☆
- Death Note, Vol. 3: Hard Run by Tsugumi Ohba – 4☆
- Death Note, Vol. 4: Love by Tsugumi Ohba – 4☆
Last week I reported starting Mistborn. This week, however, I completely ditched that book. I will probably still finish it, but the story isn’t gripping me. Every time I put it down, I completely forget about it. Instead I’ve been enjoying two books from my Scribd subscription, The Prince, a novella in the Selection series, and Another Little Piece, the debut of Kate Karyus Quinn, and another Death Note volume.
How was your week?
