Review Copy Cleanup: First Week Update
Whew guys, that first week of the Review Copy Cleanup just flew by! If this is the first time you’re hearing of it, just read this post.
We also had our very first Twitter chat on Friday – an idea we got from the feedback form from the last RCC. It was a lot of fun, although we would love it if more people would join us! The next one is scheduled on Saturday the 18th. I believe it was 9 o’clock European time. That is 19:00 GMT, the internet tells me. Hope to see you there! (:
My first week was actually quite productive, although a rather tumultuous one. In between working mornings, trying to read, move my blog to a new domain and moving out of my parent’s house, it feels like more time than just a puny little week has gone by. In between all this stuff I managed to finish three books. Here are the ones I read (cover goes to Goodreads, link goes to my review):
- League of Strays by L.B. Schulman
- Circuit Theory by Crow & Starck (no review – although it’s a nice sci-fi LGBT novella, I didn’t get it)
- Fifty Shames of Earl Grey by Fanny Merkin
For the upcoming week, I am going to try for three more. I’ve already started the book Dust Girl by Sarah Zettel, and so far it’s pretty promising (and it’s short!). After that I think I’m going to tackle my unread paperback books, since I haven’t dared touching them at all during the RCC.
