Happy New Year! & 2014 Wrap Up
I hope everyone had a lovely holiday, no matter how or where you celebrated it!
2014 was an interesting year, filled with good things. I went on trips to Stockholm and Cologne, I finished my first children’s book, and I saw some amazing bands live (Seether, Maybeshewill, Mayday Parade, You Me At Six). It saw the birth of my personal blog, Irresponsible Cactus. On the other hand, I also struggled heavily with the direction I wanted Nyx Book Reviews to go, and I saw all of my free time being dissipated by university. It was also the year I started dancing ballet. 2014 was the year of beginnings, and 2015 will be even more so – a new city, a new university, a new degree.
I’m very much looking forward to our trip to London this January (we will be there 16-19th, and I would love to meet up with you guys if you happen to be in town!) and the music festival of Rock am Ring we’re going to. It’s going to be an exciting year, with many new adventures.
