Challenges

Monday Challenge: Scientific Discovery by The Book Barbies

For this challenge we’re allowed to bring two people from the fiction world into the real world. One BFF, one boyfriend.

As for a BFF, I’d pick Dani from Iced and the Fever series. She’s a bit younger than me, but I think we could have a wonderful time watching horror movies and eating massive amounts of snacks. Plus, the girl really needs a break from that horrible post-apocalyptic world and all these ancient guys drooling over her. She doesn’t have any real friends and could use some girl-time. And I’m really curious what the deal is with Dancer…

I’m not picking a boyfriend, since I already have one and dealing with two seems like an awful lot of trouble! Testosterone levels rising, grunting and snarling and angry staring… It wouldn’t be pretty. So I’ll be picking a smaller size threat. I’d love to meet Jenks from the Rachel Morgan books by Kim Harrison. Jenks is a pixy, so small that he can sit on the hoops of Rachel’s earrings. He’s loyal and courageous and a wonderful friend, and it would be hilarious to see him threaten someone with his tooth-pick sized sword.

Who would you pick?

I’ve only read Darkfever (so far) so I’ve not met Dani yet but I love that you picked Jenks! He’d be great to hang out with…as long as you could keep him away from the honey lol :)

My bookish BFF and BF are here if you’d like a look :)

Yep, life has a tendency to do that. ;) You did get some reading done though, so that’s great!

Life always does seem to come up during a readathon! Though, you’re still making progress, which is great. :)

Have fun the rest of the week — and good luck!

Yay for train reading!  It’s where I get most of my reading done – nothing else to distract me.  You are burning through those books ;)
